Requirements

Relevant undergraduate qualification (NQF 7) in Public Management/Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, Auditing, Risk or Project Management. SMS pre-entry certificate. Five years' middle/senior management experience in Labour Activation/Public Employment Programmes or Enterprise Development, financial and grant management, fund monitoring and evaluation, governance, risk and compliance. Large-scale public programme and funded-entity management experience advantageous. Knowledge of public service and labour legislation, Treasury Regulations and audit processes; financial, project, risk and stakeholder management skills.

Duties

Manage strategies and policies for monitoring Labour Activation Programmes and TERS funding. Lead funding provision to implementing institutions. Maintain stakeholder partnerships and networks. Provide strategic advice and reports to UIF governance bodies, executive management, the Minister and Director-General. Coordinate internal and external audits, including AGSA audits, and implement recommendations and corrective actions. Manage human, financial and asset resources.
