Requirements

National Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Science, Knowledge Management or relevant SAQA-recognised qualification. Five years' knowledge and information management experience, including three years at Assistant Director or equivalent junior management level. Knowledge of frameworks, governance, maturity assessments, organisational learning, knowledge retention and digital platforms. Leadership, project management, policy development, monitoring, research, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Computer literacy.

Duties

Develop, implement and review knowledge and information management frameworks, policies, strategies and governance instruments. Conduct maturity assessments and manage implementation, change management and evaluation plans. Promote knowledge sharing, harvesting and retention; coordinate communities of practice and capacity building. Implement digital platforms. Manage governance structures, stakeholder engagement, compliance, monitoring and reporting. Maintain supporting evidence and submit reports through the DPSA online system.
