Requirements

NQF Level 3 and PSIRA certificate. No experience required. Knowledge of access control, equipment movement controls, prescribed security procedures, emergency procedures, public service prescripts and CCTV operation. Planning, information analysis, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Willingness to work long hours.

Duties

Control access and prevent unauthorised persons and dangerous objects entering premises. Lock offices and access points, operate control room equipment and monitor movements. Patrol premises, check for people and fire hazards, implement emergency procedures and alert emergency services and management. Provide reception services and visitor stickers. Maintain occurrence and other registers, report incidents and obtain feedback.
