Requirements

Honours degree (NQF 8) in Natural/Environmental Sciences/Management or relevant SAQA-recognised qualification and three years' criminal investigation or related investigative experience. Demonstrable experience gathering and managing evidence, interviewing witnesses, obtaining statements, compiling reports and preparing prosecution dockets. Knowledge of environmental legislation, criminal procedure, evidence custody and waste and pollution crimes. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder skills; computer literacy. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
