Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate or relevant equivalent. Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good telephone etiquette, organisational and people skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with people at different levels and backgrounds, and to act with tact and discretion.

Duties

Provide secretarial, receptionist and clerical support to the Director. Handle calls, diary appointments, typing and office equipment. Arrange travel, meetings, venues and refreshments. Process travel claims and invoices. Take minutes, draft routine correspondence and reports, and maintain files. Administer leave registers and telephone accounts; receive and distribute documents. Procure standard office items and prepare meeting documents. Keep up to date with applicable public service and departmental policies and procedures.
