Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Social Sciences / LLB or related equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6). Minimum 3 years' junior management experience in the relevant field. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of land tenure security, tenure legislation, strategic planning, HR, finance, supply chain management, economics and Public Service Act. Analytical, communication, computer, report-writing, facilitation, negotiation and team management skills. Willingness to travel and work under pressure.

Duties

Coordinate communal land tenure and land rights programmes, awareness and capacity building. Support land rights management structures and facilitate mediation of land rights disputes. Coordinate tenure upgrades and monitor the Land Rights Management Facility. Establish and support Communal Property Associations, maintain databases, investigate disputes and promote legislative compliance. Manage provincial tenure implementation plans, stakeholder relations, audits, risk action plans and consolidated reports.
