Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Logistics Management, Financial Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Purchasing Management or related equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6). Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in logistics and transport. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of Public Service policies, Treasury Regulations, PFMA, BAS and LOGIS. Budget monitoring, supply chain management, computer, communication, organising, supervisory, liaison and teamwork skills.

Duties

Implement logistics systems and procedures, manage user profiles and maintain LOGIS integrity. Coordinate year-end closure, reporting, order processing and inventory control. Initiate, validate and reconcile payments for goods, services and assets, ensuring payment within 30 days. Manage creditor reconciliations, stores and warehousing. Manage fleet services and travel arrangements, OFTAR and DOTR requests and reconciliations, Government Garage and subsidised vehicles.
