Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Financial Management, Cost and Management Accounting or equivalent (NQF 6). At least 3 years' supervisory experience in budget planning. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of budget systems, accounting software, financial accounting systems and GAAP. Skills in project and team management, budget forecasting, advanced Excel, planning, problem solving and communication.

Duties

Initiate annual budget compilation. Develop and evaluate inputs for budget frameworks, AENE, MTEF, ENE and roll-overs. Manage branch budget processes and consolidate inputs. Monitor budget implementation and capturing on BAS. Manage SCOA segments aligned to the vote. Advise managers on budget reallocations and quarterly realignment. Monitor balancing reports, BAS budget structures and economic reporting allocations.
