Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting, Public Finance, Financial Management (NQF 6) or related equivalent. At least 2 years' experience in financial management. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of Treasury Regulations, PFMA, Public Service Regulations, PERSAL, BAS and LOGIS. Supervisory and verbal and written communication skills.

Duties

Check, verify and authorise BAS, PERSAL and LOGIS transactions. Maintain budgets and reconcile travel agency and key accounts. Compile financial reports, age analyses, accruals, payables and evidence portfolios. Report on invoices paid within 30 days. Facilitate MTEF, ENE and AENE inputs, correct misallocations, shift funds and analyse expenditure trends. Manage petty cash, replenishments, cash counts, reporting and facility requests.
