Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Auditing / Accounting (NQF Level 6) or relevant related qualification. Minimum 3 years' junior management experience in internal audit project management and quality assurance. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of project management best practice and Institute of Internal Auditors standards. Communication, analytical, problem-solving, project management, computer, financial management and risk and control assessment skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Duties

Coordinate strategic and operational plans, risk registers and progress reporting to the Chief Audit Executive. Manage audit methodologies, policies, procedures, staff training and Teammate support. Conduct quality assurance reviews and coordinate internal and external quality assessments. Monitor audit and forensic project delivery and management action plans. Manage electronic auditing software, audit reports, budgets, assets, procurement, records and governance processes. Provide audit committee secretariat services and coordinate meetings and member payments.
