Requirements

SAQA-recognised NQF Level 6 undergraduate qualification in Human Resources Management, Public Management or Employee Relations. Two years' functional experience in Employment Relations Management. Driver's licence advantageous. Knowledge of PSC complaints and grievance rules, PSCBC resolutions, labour case law, PFMA, PSA, LRA, EEA and PSCBC/CCMA procedures. Negotiation, people management, problem-solving, presentation, planning, organising, communication, computer literacy and report writing skills.

Duties

Conduct and analyse employee grievances and complaints in the province. Draft charges and finalise departmental misconduct cases. Represent the department in disputes referred to the GPSSBC and Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.
