Requirements

National Diploma (NQF 6) in Accounting, Financial Management or relevant related qualification recognised by SAQA. At least 2 years' financial management experience. Knowledge of accounting, financial management, BAS, LOGIS and public service financial legislation. Computer, supervisory, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to apply policies and legislation and work independently, in a team and under pressure.

Duties

Authorise sundry and LOGIS payments after checking signatures and captured information. Update, report and reconcile prepayments and advances accounts. Maintain the Telkom register and clear interfaces. Compile accruals and unrecognised payables reports. Ensure compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations, policies, controls and financial delegations. Reconcile 30-day and individual reports for submission to the supervisor.
