Requirements

Grade 12, Certificate in Security Supervisory Management and Grade B PSIRA registration. At least 3 years' security experience, including experience as a Security Guard. Valid driver's licence and willingness to work shifts. Knowledge of access control, CCTV and control room operations, security legislation, MISS, MPSS, emergency procedures and occupational health and safety. Computer literacy, communication, reporting, interpersonal and investigation skills.

Duties

Operate and monitor security systems and CCTV. Manage access cards, recordings, occurrence books and equipment fault reports. Render fingerprint screening services. Conduct patrols, inspections and access screening to protect employees, information and property. Monitor assets and vehicle movements. Support occupational health and safety and emergency evacuations. Test security equipment, keep exits clear and report non-compliance. Conduct after-hours inspections and monitor contracted guard services.
