Requirements

Grade 12 and National Diploma in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Internal Auditing or relevant equivalent. At least 2 years' finance experience. Valid driver's licence. Knowledge of financial functions, finance administration, BAS, Division of Revenue Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations and relevant legislation. Report writing, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; computer literacy and proficiency in Excel and MS Word.

Duties

Reconcile restitution payments and expenditure records and facilitate payment instructions. Maintain BAS and PERSAL payments and coordinate supply chain services. Prepare quarterly financial statement inputs. Coordinate audit findings, responses and information requests from auditors and investigators. Reconcile project registers and payment records; update commitment and land purchase registers. Compile journals to correct misallocations and maintain suspense accounts, summaries and monthly reports.
