Requirements

Appropriate qualifications that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Paediatric (2026). A valid work permit will be required from non-South Africans. Sound knowledge of medical ethics. Multidisciplinary management and teamwork and experience in the respective medical discipline. Knowledge of current Health and Public Service regulations and policies. Skills in terms of consultations, history taking, examination, clinical assessment and clinical management.
