Requirements

Basic R425 qualification i.e. Diploma/degree in nursing registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse in General Nursing or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (R174 that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse and Midwife. Post graduate qualification in Health care management/ nursing administration. Current registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A minimum of 8 years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate / recognizable experience at management level. Recognizable experience in the field/program applied for. Valid drivers licence.
