Requirements

Grade 12/Senior Certificate and Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA). Twelve months' security experience. Knowledge of access control legislation, evacuation procedures, Minimum Information Security Standards, PSIRA procedures, Batho Pele and departmental/public service policies. Communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, listening, computer, planning and analytical skills.

Duties

Control access to the Labour Centre and Provincial Office. Secure information and assets. Patrol buildings and offices to ensure employee and client safety. Conduct internal investigations and enforce security rules and regulations.
