Requirements

Experience assessing innovative financial structures and grant funding; strong understanding of private-sector financing, incentives and risk; ability to conduct due diligence and analyse financial statements and models. Five years at senior managerial level. Postgraduate finance-related qualifications and CFA, CA(SA) or MBA are advantageous. Minimum qualification is not visible in the excerpt.

Duties

Originate employment-focused investment opportunities; assess and structure complex funding models; conduct financial, commercial and operational due diligence; assess risks and recommend mitigation. Lead appraisal reports and funding recommendations, oversee complex Jobs Fund projects, research job creation opportunities, present findings, mentor staff and represent the Fund.
