Requirements

Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Finance, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. 10–15 years' experience appraising, negotiating and closing project and corporate finance transactions; at least seven years in a project management environment and five years at middle/senior managerial level. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, risk management and communication skills; experience using relevant AI tools.

Duties

Provide financial due diligence, appraisal and structuring support; manage projects and teams. Develop term sheets, originate projects, quality assure appraisals and finalise contracting. Oversee portfolio risks, disbursements, audit readiness and remedial action. Improve grant management processes, coordinate site visits, manage stakeholder relationships and produce research and learning materials. Develop the risk framework, support financing strategy and train staff.
