Requirements

Three-year tertiary qualification (NQF 6)/National Diploma in Real Estate Management Services, Property Management or Town and Regional Planning. Relevant experience in property management and PMIS. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel. Knowledge of GIAMA, PFMA, BBBEE, property law and Treasury Regulations; PMIS and GIS knowledge advantageous. Computer literacy, communication, interpersonal, report-writing, analytical and numerical skills; ability to work under pressure.

Duties

Verify state properties and maintain PMIS records. Ensure optimal utilisation, security and action against unlawful occupation; arrange vegetation clearance and fire breaks. Liaise with stakeholders, negotiate leases and administer lease conditions, debts and budgets. Conduct site visits and utilisation assessments; facilitate letting, land development documentation and consent. Identify surplus properties for disposal, prepare reports, allocate duties and supervise staff performance.
