Requirements

Grade 9/ABET level 4. Two years' relevant cleaning services experience advantageous. Basic knowledge of cleaning, office administration, cleaning equipment, occupational health and safety, personnel practices and Labour Relations Act. Communication, numeracy, observation, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution and motivational skills.

Duties

Control cleaning equipment and materials, identify resource needs and arrange repairs or replacement. Supervise cleaning, housekeeping, safeguarding and maintenance services. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and safety, identify hazards, inspect cleaned areas and oversee refuse removal and OHS compliance. Identify staff development needs, review performance, support HR administration, discipline, timekeeping and records management.
