Requirements

PND 1: Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Diploma/Degree in Nursing (R.425) or equivalent qualification that allows for registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse, and Psychiatric Nursing. Diploma/degree in Nursing Education qualification registered with SANC. A Post Basic or Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric Nursing or Mental Health Nursing. Current registration with SANC. Master’s degree in nursing/public health (Applicants who are in the data analysis stage of the research may be considered and those who do not have master’s degree in nursing but in possession of a degree in Nursing at NQF L8 may also apply). A minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognisable experience as a Professional Nurse.
