Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post. Experience: Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of SCM processes. Knowledge of Financial Management. Knowledge of Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPF). Knowledge of Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment (BBBEE). Knowledge of Construction Industry Development Board (CIBD).

Duties

Demand and acquisition management of goods, services and infrastructure. Advertising bids and sourcing quotation via EPS. Preparation of procurement batches for the Quotation Committee. Adjudication of bids via EPS. Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative and prescripts requirements. Prepare and process all documentation for BAS payments. Update and record all Projects on the Engineering database. Assist with general ad hoc functions as and when required.
