Requirements
National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma (NQF L6) or preferably a B Degree (NQF L7) in Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development/ Training and Development/ Public Administration/ Public Management qualification as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Skills Development and Training coordination, of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level (SL 7 / 8). Skills Development Facilitator certificate and Train the Trainer certificate will serve as an added advantage. Duties
Coordinate and facilitate training programmes for employees. Manage the development, review the training & development policies, frameworks and guidelines. Monitor consolidation of the departmental training needs. Verify alignment with departmental priorities and skills plans. Develop and maintain annual training schedules. Liaise and engage with training providers. Oversee training sessions to ensure quality and adherence to agreed standards. Align human resource development training programs with strategic objectives. Maintain training records and reporting. Facilitate and lead skills audits. Develop a detailed skills audit plan and implementation approach aligned with departmental objectives.
