Requirements
National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma (NQF L6) or preferably a B Degree (NQF L7) in Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development/ Training and Development/ Public Administration/ Public Management qualification as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Skills Development and Training coordination, of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level (SL 7 / 8). Skills Development Facilitator certificate and Train the Trainer certificate will serve as an added advantage. Knowledge and skills: Good interpretation and knowledge of the National Skills Development Strategy, Public Finance Management Act, Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levy Act, Public Service Regulations, knowledge of the compulsory training programmes in the Public Service and training on various programme, knowledge of PERSAL system, planning, coordination, or
Duties
Coordinate the development and submission of the workplace skills plan (WSP) and annual training report (ATR). Conduct skills gap analysis and training assessment across the organization. Align skills development plans with strategic objectives and workforce plans. Facilitate consolidation of inputs from business units to inform training priorities. Administer integration of skills development initiatives into departmental plans and budgets. Monitor progress against planned training interventions and recommend adjustments where necessary. Manage and implement skills development initiatives. Coordinate artisans’ development programs. Coordinate the implementation of training and development programmes.
