Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (NQF 7). Extensive relevant experience, including 5 years at senior managerial level leading curriculum design and development. Experience developing NQF-registered qualifications, leading education or professionalisation programmes, managing teams and budgets, executive stakeholder engagement, digital learning innovation and applied research. Knowledge of education frameworks, public sector legislation and ETD professionalisation. Security vetting required; willingness to travel and work extended hours.
Duties
Develop curriculum policies, standards and frameworks. Lead ETD practitioner professionalisation, competency standards, learning pathways and continuing development. Drive curriculum transformation, qualification pipelines and digital learning innovation. Oversee accredited and non-accredited programme design, review and improvement. Standardise development methodologies and ensure quality assurance, accreditation and alignment with institutional strategy. Develop modular programmes, micro-credentials and RPL. Evaluate impact, benchmark programmes and establish strategic partnerships.
