Requirements

An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher) in Financial Accounting or related; A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a financial accounting or similar environment. Competencies: Knowledge of and working experience with the following, legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions; information systems that aid in the management of knowledge and information pertaining to the line function; Public Service Act, 1994, as amended; Knowledge and understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act; the BAS system; the LOGIS system; Database Management; Information and Records Management; project management; operational management practices; procurement and tendering processes; policy development, and operational management, monitoring and review processes; modern systems of governance and administration; public servi

Collection and recording of revenue; Reporting; Clearance of balances in the assets and liabilities accounts; Managerial functions; Financial Management.
