Requirements

An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification) at NQF 6; A minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience. Competencies: Knowledge of and working experience in: Interpret and implement legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; use information systems that support the management of knowledge and information relating to the line function; administer the National Land Transport Act (Act No. 5 of 2009); administer the Road Transportation Act (Act No. 74 of 1977); administer the Western Cape Road Transportation Amendment Law Act (Act No. 8 of 1996); implement the National Land Transport Regulations, 2009; manage the functions, activities, processes and procedures of a Walk-In-Centre; process applications for operating licences; manage financial management, monitoring and reporting procedures, s
