Requirements

Qualifications: National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Management/ Public Administration/ Public Management/ Business Management / Strategic Management. A valid driver’s license. A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of strategy planning or policy coordination or monitoring and evaluation or administration. Knowledge: The Constitution for the Republic of South Africa, Public Finance Management Act, Public Service Act & Regulations, Labour Relations Act and relevant regulations, Intergovernmental Relations Framework Act, Revised Framework for Strategic Plans, National Development Plan, Medium- Term Development Plan, KwaZulu Natal Medium- Term Development Plan Implementation Framework, National Policy Development Framework, Government-Wide Monitoring and Evaluation, Framework for Managing Programme Performance Information, National Evaluation Policy Framework. Skills: Strategic thinking

Duties

Coordinate the development and implementation of medium-term, planning frameworks, guidelines and tools; Coordinate the alignment of annual departmental plans with and progress reports with Social Development Sector- specific priorities and policy directives; Coordinate the alignment of annual departmental plans and progress reports with KZN Provincial Priorities and policy directives; Provide advice, guidance and input to policy; Manage resources of the Division
