Requirements

An appropriate 3-year National Diploma /B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management or related working environment. Competencies: Knowledge of and working experience in the following: legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; conduct strategic sourcing and procurement activities and assess market conditions; manage sourcing and vendor relationships; analyse market trends and identify procurement opportunities; manage procurement and tendering processes; implement the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act; implement the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and associated regulations, practice notes and circulars; implement the Public Service Anti- Corruption Strategy; manage supply chain management processes in accordance with the Supply Chain Management Gui

Duties

Render an effective and efficient strategic sourcing support service; reporting; analysing; database management; record keeping; research; development and Managerial/Supervisory functions.
