Requirements

Grade 12, one year's relevant experience and Grade B PSIRA certificate. Valid driver's licence advantageous. Knowledge of access control, movement of equipment and stores, security legislation and procedures, emergency procedures and the OHS Act. Computer literacy, communication, supervisory, problem-solving, decision-making, planning and interpersonal skills.

Duties

Supervise security officers and service providers, access control and movement of equipment and documents. Inspect security equipment, check occurrence registers and respond to emergencies and alarms. Identify risks, investigate incidents and submit reports. Oversee control room operations, footage reviews and incident registers. Arrange equipment servicing, staff rosters, shifts and overtime; manage leave, key control, performance and training needs.
