Requirements

An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification). A minimum of 3-years relevant experience at supervisory level. Competencies: Knowledge and working experience in the following: Implement legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; use information systems that support the management of knowledge and information relating to the line function; manage operational activities and processes; administer the Public Service Act, 1994, as amended (Act No. 103 of 1994); administer the Public Service Regulations, 2016; administer the National Land Transport Act (Act No. 5 of 2009); administer the Road Transportation Act (Act No. 74 of 1977); administer the Western Cape Road Transportation Amendment Law Act (Act No. 8 of 1996); administer the National Land Transport Regulations, 2009; manage financial

Duties

Manage the issuing of operating licenses in the region; Manage enquiries and complaints; Liaise with different stakeholders in the industry; Ensure accurate Reporting, Analysis and Record Keeping; Managerial functions.
