Requirements

NQF level 7 qualification in Operations Management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Management. Five years' relevant senior management experience in manufacturing or high-volume production. NSG SMS Pre-Entry Programme certificate. Knowledge of production processes, smartcard technologies, secure printing and distribution, ICT integration, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, supply chain and public service frameworks. Skills in transformation, automation, vendor management, partnerships and reporting; ethical, security-conscious leadership.

Duties

Lead secure driving licence card production, planning, quality, logistics, safekeeping and dispatch. Optimise plant reliability, maintenance, costs and production performance. Manage stakeholder engagement, security and compliance. Oversee DLCA budgets, funding, expenditure, financial reporting, audits, reconciliations and debtors. Manage procurement, contracts and supplier payments. Implement risk management and mitigation. Manage staff, resources, governance, strategic and annual reports, and monitoring and evaluation.
