Requirements
Grade 12 and at least 20 modules completed towards an LLB, BA Law or BCom Law degree. Two years' relevant secretarial experience and ability to pass a typing test. Driver's licence advantageous. Knowledge of legislation, CaseLines, Court Online, secretariat procedures and Batho Pele. Communication, organisation, typing, Microsoft Office, research and problem-solving skills.
Duties
Manage judges' diaries, appointments and correspondence. Type, file and arrange uploading of judgments and orders. Maintain review and reserved judgment registers. Prepare court rolls, bench books and case files; coordinate stakeholders and call cases in court. Handle exhibits and administer oaths when required. Arrange travel, accommodation, vehicle servicing and claims; maintain library updates and stationery supplies.
