Requirements

An appropriate 3-year B-degree/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) or higher qualification as recognised by SAQA; A minimum of 5 years relevant middle/senior management experience on a strategic level in a public/ security/ safety environment or related. Duties

Line Management: Strategic management, advice and guidance in respect of the following functional areas: Render an institutional support and project coordination service: Lead and oversee the management (including resourcing i.t.o budget, HR, etc) of crime prevention projects within the Directorate. Strategically manage the provision of institutional support i.t.o ensuring that policies are developed and aligned to the provincial and national priorities; Strategically manage the provision of input into: Business units’ action plans developed for execution of strategic priorities; Business units’ business plans to ensure that it aligns with the strategic plan of the department and Western Cape Government (WCG).
